Purpose of the course

On the wedding day, all couples stand in front of the altar with sparkles in their eyes and with big promises in their hearts for their spouses – where you go I will go, your people are my people, your God is my God, I will cherish you, I will fulfil all your dreams for you,  I will love you forever and ever,  through sickness and health,  I will stand by your side till death tears us apart.

The truth is that only 35% of those promises will be fulfilled. In a few years from now, many will be sitting with wounds of words/deeds from spouses that hurt them deeply, and then the thought will appear…. maybe just maybe he/she does not love me as much as I love him/her, and he/she will feel hurt and discouraged by the disrespect he/she was treated with. At that stage you have to relive the truth of the covenant that you have made with your spouse and with God, the covenant that, I will stay by your side forever and ever … the reality is …love is not a feeling but a choice.

The Pre-marriage course will not only give you tools for a Godly marriage but will also help you deal with your past hurts so that you can become a better spouse to your husband/wife.

You cannot bring to the wedding table a broken vessel or a vessel that is only half full and then expect him/her to be what you are not. You want to offer him/her the gift of the fullness of what God created you to be.  He/she deserves the best and that is the complete you.
